Simon Lewicki—better known as Groove Terminator—is a legendary Australian DJ and music producer with over three decades of experience across hip-hop, electronic, house, and dance music. From his early days spinning vinyl in Adelaide to performing on some of the world’s biggest stages, Simon has built a career that bridges underground culture and mainstream success.
Simon’s toured internationally, charted hits like One More Time (The Sunshine Song), and collaborated with major acts through projects like Tonite Only and Jump Jump Dance Dance.
He’s also worked on high-profile remixes and helped bring dance music into regional Australia—breaking new ground with every step.
Most recently, Simon launched the History of House project alongside the Soweto Gospel Choir, blending iconic dance anthems with the power of gospel vocals. The project earned critical acclaim, an ARIA nomination, and became the subject of the 2025 ABC documentary The DJ and The Gospel Choir.
