RICK BRIDGMAN
ARTIST DEVELOPMENT • STRATEGIST • INDUSTRY BUILDER
Turning talented artists into sustainable, career-defining movements. Rick Bridgman is one of the rare behind-the-scenes operators who knows how to turn talent into traction. As Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Good Intent, he works across artist management, campaigns, touring, PR, and live events - building the strategy and infrastructure that help independent artists grow properly and stick around for the long haul. Since launching Good Intent in 2018 with Rob Carroll and Nick Moran, Rick has helped shape the company into a trusted partner for modern artists, combining smart planning with hands-on execution. From release rollouts and digital growth to content through their in-house creative studio Good Loco, his focus is simple: create real opportunities and sustainable pathways, not quick wins. He’s managed and worked closely with artists including Fool Nelson, Close Counters, Bootleg Rascal and FANGZ, contributing to milestones like triple j’s Hottest 200 placements (#154 - Bad Dreams), plus an ARIA #4 Jazz & Blues Chart debut, AIR #7 100% Independent Chart placement (LOVERS DANCE ACADEMY) and Best Electronic Work Victoria Awards (SOULACOASTA II). Rick’s impact goes beyond management. He created Greater Good, an annual initiative returning in-kind services and a $30,000 grant pool to independent artists across Australia and New Zealand, and launched Lansdowne.TV, a live performance platform spotlighting emerging acts and strengthening local scenes. At heart, Rick is a community guy. A regular guest speaker at leading creative institutes, he’s passionate about demystifying the industry and helping artists think like operators - not passengers. Rick blends deep industry experience with a modern, people-first approach to management, always championing the balance with integrity and commercial opportunity. As a mentor, Rick teaches you how the business really works: how to plan releases, build the right team, position your project, and create momentum that lasts. Less guesswork. More strategy. Real outcomes.
